IMPORTANCE OF REVIT® TEMPLATES

Revit being a multi-trade software, makes templates of high importance. Templates are preset and give users a standard environment required for any project and work within company guidelines. Typical templates include system families for modeling, annotations, view templates, sheets, schedules and titleblocks. Project units are also setup for all parameters to make scheduling and analysis easier. Also, they can provide project browser organization and delineation of disciplines, a key element for collaboration and working within the BIM environment.
*Templates are available in Revit Versions 2019-2022.
