< Back Senior Sales Consultant Brian Michniewicz travels to Epson and receives prestigious Precision Core Chip Epson's Headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA In September our Senior Sales Consultant Brian Michniewicz from the King of Prussia market was invited to Epson's headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA. There he participated in an Epson Difference Sales Ambassador training program and was given an executive-led tour of their facilities by Mark Matthews - VP of Commercial Sales and Marketing. Brian participated in hands-on workshops with Epson's Product Management team to learn what differentiates the WorkForce Enterprise line and how each product is meaningful to your success. Here he was taught the Precision Core Simple, Smart, Clean terminology and was awarded the Prestigious Precision Core chip to use with demonstrations. The purpose of Brian's trip and training was to gain a better understanding of Epson and understand where Epson is positioned in the world of inkjet printing and how Precision Core technology is a disrupter in the printer and copier industry. Brian was able to meet many other salespeople from across the Northeast US and learned how they are turning their existing customers and new customers on to Epson because of the reliability and cost savings the Precision Core technology provides. Upon his return, Brian did a presentation to Print-O-Stat's sales team detailing what he had learned, which inspired and built excitement with his peers. < Back Print-O-Stat holds Pre-Apprentice Day with York Builders Association Students from all over the area were treated to a Pre-Apprentice Day with York Builders Association Print-O-Stat specialists broke the students down into small groups and showed them three key aspects of the AEC industry - CAD and Topography, Survey Equipment and HD Scanning and Software. Hands-on learning and exercises were the focus of the day. Mark, our Applications Engineer, used the Authorized Training Center to instruct students in Autodesk design software and Google Earth showcasing the importance of elevation change, cartography and hydrology. Thomas, our Surveying Specialist, took students outside and introduced them to select survey equipment to triangulate points including an automatic level, a rotating laser and a total station. Steve, Print-O-Stat's HD Scanning specialist discussed the equipment used for HD scanning as well as the end results of renderings of various projects. To give students some hands-on learning, an exercise was given for groups to construct a structure using only spaghetti and marshmallows, with a large marshmallow having to be the top. The highest structure won. Design and team-building were key. Another hand-on exercise was to do site design and layout a new mini-mart type business with gas pumps. Designs had to take into account traffic flow, parking as well as situating the trash facilities and a retaining pond. Brainstorming and teamwork were key for this exercise. < Back Print-O-Stat hosts Carlson Day - A deep dive into Carlson Software and Equipment Guests were treated to a deep dive into Carlson products including Survey software & equipment During the morning session there was an in-depth discussion about Carlson Survey software from some of the expert representatives from Print-O-Stat and Carlson. Training focused on advanced field-to-finish techniques to automate point attributes like monumentation, invert depths and directions, tree descriptions and more. In the afternoon, Mike Hyman from Carlson showed our guests hands-on data capture using the latest Carlson survey equipment. Data was then taken back to the classroom and discussed, along with a question and answer session of the day's activities. Here some of the new and upcoming offerings from Carlson were discussed, including the NEW Autel Robotics EVO II drone.
